Description
Constant-Speed Drives are used on turbine aircraft to drive AC generators at specific RPMs. Avotek’s CSD shows how the units transform the variable RPM from the turbine to a constant RPM needed for the electrical system. Available as a complete system (EA63) or a cutaway unit (EA64).
The cutaway unit features speed/limit governors, gear drives, and constant-speed transmission assembly. Both unit types are mounted on easy-to-carry stands.
