For the AMT school on a budget Avotek offers several options in the Westinghouse J-34 turbojet family. The basic design of the J-34 is the same as most modern turbojets, and its simplicity makes it ideal for teaching turbine technology.
The J-34 Tear Down Engine (E40) is specifically designed for instruction of the disassembly and reassembly of turbojet engines and is also suitable for display and familiarization purposes. The unit includes the accessory drive gearbox with fuel control unit, oil cooler, and manuals.
