The first in a new series of instructional videos by Avotek, this DVD presentation is intended to familiarize AMT students and technicians with proper maintenance and overhaul procedures for the Champion 4200 and 6200 series magnetos.
A step-by-step demonstration of the disassembly procedure for the magneto is shown along with the necessary tools required to complete the job. The video takes the viewer through the inspection and cleaning of the component and details the overhaul reassembly procedure, and installation of new parts. The 100- and 500-hour inspection procedures are also described.
