FAA 8083 (Version B) AMT Handbook Series – Textbook/Workbook Set
This handbook set by the Federal Aviation Administration is a guide for individuals preparing to take the FAA Mechanic Knowledge test for the Airframe and the Powerplant ratings. The FAA made minor updates to the 2018 A series in 2023. These handbooks cover the subjects that aviation maintenance technicians need as a base of knowledge in their career. For easier handling, Avotek split the FAA Airframe book into two volumes.
This set includes all four handbooks, as originally written by the FAA.
This kit also includes the four accompanying workbooks written by Avotek. We updated these from the A series. The workbooks include multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank, and analysis questions to guide study and instruction of the FAA handbooks.
